Introducing Lookware™

Digital Adjunctive Therapy Platform

Your child’s Bierman therapist supervises and monitors your child engaging in a 25-minute session that harnesses the power of cutting-edge eye-tracking technology, evidence-based behavior analytic principles, and gaming. There are very quick, objective assessments of visual behavior as well as 25-minute visual behavior exercises or emotion recognition exercises designed to measurably improve social skills.
BioStream has worked with some of the world’s leading experts to digitize several Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, such as prompting, fading, differential reward, and momentum… the very principles that Applied Behavior Analysis experts use to help children live well with autism, as part of a healthy lifestyle and evidence-based teaching programs.
Lookware delivers training intensity that is not humanly possible to replicate in a familiar and safe environment, yet the cost of each session, after an initial no-charge phase, is less than a typical office visit co-pay.
BioStream has already provided a Lookware-enabled, high processing speed laptop, an industry-leading Tobii eye tracker and a basic game controller to your Bierman therapist. Lookware has a simple format for enabling your Bierman therapist to collect data on how these skills are performed outside of the game in the natural environment as well as for assessing generalization at home and in the community. Lookware analyzes vast amounts of data in real time and adapts the experience to each child’s unique needs.

Lookware incorporates evidence-based, behavior analytic techniques, is fun and engaging, and uses sophisticated gaze-contingent eye tracking technology to deliver an intense and enjoyable amount of adjunctive therapy over a series of 25–30-minute sessions.

Even though your Bierman therapist believes that your child may benefit from Lookware™, ultimately it is your decision as a caregiver to authorize Bierman staff to use, continue to use or to stop Lookware at any time.
